About Our Speaker
Dan Banks is President and CEO of 9 Fruits, LLC, a local smoothie business. Prior to founding 9 Fruits with his family, he spent 31 years in the corporate world with several Fortune 500 companies including 16 years with Procter & Gamble, where he helped start and later headed its Patient Care Division. Dan also worked in the biotech field with Smith & Nephew's Wound Management Division to introduce a breakthrough product that served patients suffering from burns, and he held various executive leadership positions with First Quality Enterprises in New York. He received an A.A. in Accounting from Delta College; a B.S. in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento; and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Golden Gate University.
He is married to Kim (32 years) with twin 31 year-old sons, a 22 year-old son, and a 19 year-old daughter. Dan served as Chairman of the Board for Wolf Mountain Christian Camp in California. He is currently Chairman of the Board for the Maryland Farms YMCA and is a member of the Williamson College Business Faculty. In 1990, Dan was the California State Masters division champion and coached the Schwinn cycling team in National competition.
