This summer we are excited to offer a study of some of the world's major religions. This is a great opportunity to stay connected with Search while your group breaks for the summer or to get re-connected to us if you have not been part of a group recently.

We will spend 8 weeks together studying eight (8) world religions.

  • Week of June 11th: Introduction to Worldview & Atheism
  • Week of June 18th: Islam
  • Week of June 25th: Judaism
  • Week of July 9th: Buddhism
  • Week of July 16th: Hinduism
  • Week of 30th: Mormonism
  • Week of August 6th: Jehovah's Witnesses
  • Week of August 13th: Scientology

We will look at the origin and history, key teachings, view of God and Jesus, path to salvation, and answer to the problem of evil for each religion. Throughout, we will compare each with Christian teachings, noting any similarities and key differences.

You will have the option, depending on your schedule, to attend either:

  • Monday lunch: 12-1pm @ Cushman Wakefield - 1033 Demonbreun St #600, Nashville, TN 37203 (map)
  • OR
  • Wednesday morning: 6:45-7:45am @ Scout Properties - 110 30th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37212 (map)

The weekly material will be the same at each session. You do not need to notify us about which session you'll attend each week.

We will podcast each session and make them available to everyone who registers in case you miss a week.
